St Martin de Porres Primary School wanted a fun and challenging playground for their students. The brief provided to adventure+ was to create a playground that included a big track ride, climbing elements and a giant slide. Our play consultant worked with them closely to tick all their boxes.

Rope climbing galore

Climbing is central to the playground design at St Martin de Porres. Students have to navigate a labyrinth of rope climbing ropes to access the giant slide and other play activities. Not only is climbing a lot of fun but there are also considerable benefits to children physically and cognitively. Climbing develops the upper body and encourages younger students such as the preps and great ones to take risks and try something challenging.
