Eye catching play unit on top of rubber mounds.

More than meets the eye

While the play space is relatively small, it includes a lot that makes it a real attraction to the residents of the Estate. The space features a play unit located on top of two low rubber mounds, which includes a rope bridge, slide, rock wall and other activities. The use of narrow timber guardrail verticals and bright colours, combined with multi-coloured blue rubber undersurfacing gives the space an exciting vibe.

Adjacent to the play unit is a sand pit which includes a sand digger. Sand play is a real favourite for children and an excellent way to include a sensory play element for children with disabilities. A modified 5 way swing and a rocker is also included in the space.
