Overview

Beautiful playground for a beautiful setting

We’re thrilled to see the community enjoying the recently opened Electra Reserve playground. Set in a beautiful natural setting, this playground called for a customised design incorporating natural materials. It makes for an attractive playground but also allows children to experience different sensory experiences, which is vital for children between the age of 1 and 5 years.

Maximising play value

The new playground is a huge improvement on the old playground with its faded colours and minimal choice of play elements which was one of the main concerns from the community. To solve this adventure+ worked closely with the client to incorporate double slides, swings, fireman’s pole, activity panels, scramble net and many more elements into the simple design without overcrowding the space.

Customised colours & materials

Instead of opting for the bright colour scheme like many playgrounds the designer took special care in choosing a simple, plain colour scheme that compliments the natural timber and works well with the surrounding environment.

The community and client alike were very pleased with the outcome which met all the requirements.
