Bathing Boxes Themed Playground

Located near some of Victoria’s famous beaches, a beach theme was selected for play space in Armstrong Creek Estate Stage 24, and the play equipment by adventure+ plays a key role in portraying this theme by imitating beach bathing boxes. The play unit consists of three ‘bathing boxes’ joined together with numerous challenging and fun activities. The bathing box look was achieved by using multiple coloured weatherboard cladding and corrugated gable roofs.

The new playground at is an essential component of Villawood Properties mission to create healthy and well-functioning communities. adventure+ has supplied many playgrounds for Villawood Estates over the years.

adventure+ was engaged by MDG Landscape Architects to design and manufacture the playground equipment for this park. The result was a signature project; one that combines striking aesthetics and enormous play value.

Using a modular system to save time and money and ensure compliance with Australian Standards, and yet still achieve a unique look was a great solution for this park. The developer, landscape architect and residents alike were thrilled with the result.
